Opportunity:

Nuclear Medicine Technician

Job Details:

• 6-week assignment
• Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM plus on-call responsibilities
• On-call requirement Monday-Friday 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Must be registered NMTCB and/or ARRT(N)
• Must hold MRT license for Texas Medical Board
• BLS certification from HCA approved vendor required
• Must have excellent venipuncture skills and good computer skills
• Experience with general, cardiac, and therapeutic nuclear medicine
• Perform procedures including sentinel node injections, DATScan, HIDA, gastric emptying, VQ, thyroid uptake, bone scan Indium 111, thyroid ablations, and Xofigo
• Work with GE NM 850 Dual Head SPECT/CT Scanner, GE NM 830 Dual Head Gamma Camera, and GE Case 8000 Stress Testing system
• Experience with GE Scanners and Xeleris Post Processing preferred
• GE Centricity PACS experience and Meditech Health Information System knowledge preferred
• EMR system: Meditech
• Must be flexible, positive, dependable, and a team player
