Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Clienttion Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: 1 year required, 3 years preferred License: State license required Certifications: ARRT, ARRT T, BLS (AHA only), CRT Must-Have: Adult Acute Care experience Adult Outpatient experience Experience with custom molds and shields Experience with block cutting Knowledge of CBCT/kV/mV imaging Experience in external beam therapy Knowledge of IMRT Experience with stereotactic radiosurgery Knowledge of radiation safety Description: We are seeking a Clienttion Therapist for a fast-paced clinic. The clinic handles approximately 35 treatments per day. This position is Monday through Friday, with no weekends or on-call duties. The therapist will work primarily with adult and geriatric patients diagnosed with cancer. The clinic features one treatment machine while also utilizing a departmental CT simulator. Provider support is available from IV teams, pharmacy, radiology, and social services. Experience with adult acute care and outpatient settings is necessary. Candidates must be proficient in using various radiation therapy technologies and techniques. The candidate should have experience in treating various cancer types, including but not limited to benign brain tumors, prostate cancer, and gynecomastia. Knowledge and skills in patient care, including the care of patients in restraints, are required. Experience in teaching, tumor localization, and emergency procedures is preferred. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Experience in a teaching hospital is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must be prepared to work in a dynamic and demanding environment while providing high-quality patient care.
