Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Clienttion Therapist Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: Variable daily shifts between 8- and 10-hour durations, not to exceed 40 hours per week Experience: 2+ years current Clienttion Therapy experience, Oncology experience License: NH License of Medical Imaging and Clienttion Therapy or equivalent license with willingness to obtain temporary license Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Must have NH MIRT in hand or be willing to follow the process for a temporary license. VARIAN TRUEBEAM experience is required. ARIA (Treatment Record and Management) experience is required. Previous travel experience is highly preferred. Traveler must have their own vehicle. Description: Under the administrative direction of the Chief Therapist and clinical direction of the Clienttion Oncologist, the Clienttion Therapist will assist in the treatment and care of cancer patients. The therapist will administer prescribed radiation treatment, setting the necessary factors and monitoring both the patient and control panel during the treatment. The role includes preparing patients in exam rooms and assisting the Clienttion Oncologist with medical examinations. The therapist will prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for treatment and simulations and assist the Clienttion Oncologist with simulations. The therapist may inject dye into the skin of the patient as a marker, provided there has been a demonstration of appropriate training and skills to the satisfaction of the Oncologist. The role includes administering contrast media retrograde into the urinary bladder in the patient during simulation. The therapist will perform all necessary calibration on equipment as prescribed by the Clienttion Safety Officer in accordance with the conditions of the therapy license or any other regulatory body. Observing radiation safety measures for patients and personnel is essential. The therapist will record all patient doses, gather confidential history on patients, and document all reactions that the patient may have, reporting these findings to the radiologist. Additionally, the therapist will update patient examination history files, record unusual conditions and limitations, document appropriate information in the daily logbook, and complete other applicable paperwork. The role may require performing scheduling and consultation tasks as needed.
