What You'll Need:
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
• ARRT (T) certification required
• BLS required
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience. Preferred: experience in ambulatory and oncology radiation therapy, and familiarity with IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D treatments.
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators preferred.
• Experience using EPIC and Aria EMR preferred.
Additional Duties:
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including Varian TrueBeam linacs.
• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment.
• Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team; participate in IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D treatment workflows.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy and document treatments in EMR.
• Collaborate with departmental leadership; chief RT is on site for support.
Minimum Requirements:
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Therapeutic Radiology or equivalent accredited program.
• ARRT (T) registration required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical Radiation Therapy experience. First-time travelers may be accepted.
• Ambulatory and oncology radiation therapy experience required.
• Experience with IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D treatments preferred.
• Familiarity with Varian TrueBeam linacs and EPIC/Aria EMR preferred.
