Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist specializing in Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves providing radiation therapy to patients as prescribed, ensuring the highest standards of care in a supportive and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist
  • Deliver prescribed course of radiation therapy with minimal supervision
  • Check completion of dose prescription and signed consent form
  • Explain procedures to patients and maintain open communication during treatment
  • Prepare treatment room and equipment as per radiation oncologist's prescription
  • Transfer patients safely and maintain visual and audio communication during treatment
  • Maintain and document patient treatment charts accurately
  • Assist in tumor localization and dosimetry procedures
  • Adhere to radiation safety measures and departmental policies

Requirements of the Radiation Therapist
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program or equivalent
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) card
  • New Mexico Licensure required upon hire
  • Two to five years of clinical experience preferred
  • IMRT and LDR/HDR experience preferred
