ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Psychologist to join our team on a permanent basis in Leavenworth, Kansas. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality psychological services within a structured clinical environment, supporting individuals in need of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations of individuals.
- Formulate diagnoses and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions as clinically appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical, social work, and correctional staff.
- Participate in case reviews, clinical meetings, and quality assurance activities.
- Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards set by the Kansas licensing board.
- Support crisis intervention and risk assessment processes as required.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (MUST-HAVE)
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD, PsyD, or EdD).
- Must possess a current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in Kansas where practice occurs.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience, including at least one year in a comparable position.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE (NICE-TO-HAVE)
- Experience working within corrections, detention, or secure/forensic environments.
- Familiarity with government or institutional healthcare delivery models.
