Job Title: Psychologist Profession: Psychology Specialty: Educational and Clinical Psychology Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Experience in educational or clinical settings preferred License: Valid state Psychologist License Certifications: Valid state School Psychologist License (for school-based roles) Must-Have: Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills Description: The Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological services to support the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental-health needs of individuals. This role includes conducting evaluations, developing intervention plans, providing counseling, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include administering cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments. Creating evidence-based recommendations, behavior plans, and mental-health supports is essential. Delivering individual or group counseling focused on social-emotional and behavioral needs is required. Participation in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning is part of the role. Contributing to special education evaluations, eligibility determinations, and IEP development is necessary for school-based roles. Collaboration with educators, families, and community partners is crucial to support individual success. Utilizing assessment data to guide interventions and service adjustments is expected. Maintaining documentation, confidentiality, and ethical standards consistent with applicable laws and guidelines is critical. Preferred qualifications include experience in educational, mental-health, or community-based programs. Training in trauma-informed practices or restorative approaches is advantageous. Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior plans is preferred. Familiarity with culturally responsive and equity-centered practices is beneficial. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
