Job Summary:
Psychiatric Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Grand Rapids, MI. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to individuals within a psychiatric inpatient setting. The RN will assess patients needs, develop and coordinate individualized care plans, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to promote recovery and wellness through compassionate and patient-centered services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan state license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of behavioral health experience. Pediatric experience is also required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in adult and adolescent psychiatric care, strong communication, and crisis management skills.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for assessing patient care needs, fostering a safe environment, documenting all care activities, and supporting discharge planning. The position may include supervising or providing guidance to direct care staff, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
