Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This 13-week assignment requires the RN to deliver quality patient care by following established nursing care plans. The role involves supervising other healthcare team members and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their stay.
Job Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; BLS Certification prior to first shift; ACLS Certification prior to first shift (CIRH only); minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience; relevant education and certification requirements; residence in or eligible to work in Indiana.
- Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops and updates individualized care plans, and participates in patient education and discharge planning. Maintains accurate documentation, communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team, and contributes to a safe and efficient work environment. Provides direction and supervision to ancillary staff, participates in team-building activities, and assumes charge responsibilities after orientation. Emphasizes patient and staff safety, adhering to all safety policies and protocols. Engages in ongoing professional development and ensures the effective use of resources to deliver quality patient care.
