ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The unit consists of 44 beds, supported by a team of dedicated staff including RNs, CNAs, and Charge Nurses. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing patient care and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct neuro and spinal checks.
  • Perform C-Collar placement and apply TLSO braces.
  • Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, and IV infusions.
  • Handle lumbar drains and feeding tube placements.
  • Administer blood transfusions as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Must have ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Experience in Neuro and Trauma Care is preferred.
  • Team player with a patient-centered focus.
