Job Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least 1 year of recent PACU, recovery room, or perioperative nursing experience
- Strong acute care assessment skills and the ability to monitor post-anesthesia patients closely
- Comfort working in a fast-paced post-op recovery environment with changing priorities
- Ability to complete facility onboarding, compliance, and competency requirements
- Reliable, team-oriented approach with excellent communication and clinical documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures in the PACU
- Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, sedation response, and overall patient stability
- Support safe transfers, discharge readiness, and accurate handoff communication
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to ensure quality patient care
- Respond quickly to patient needs, complications, and changes in condition
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols, recovery standards, and patient safety guidelines
