**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in Labor and Delivery!** - **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - **Department:** Labor and Delivery - **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours - **Start Date:** Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance. **Unit Profile:** - **Number of Openings:** 1 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:1 - **Number of Beds:** 9 - **EHR System:** Centricity, Meditech **Role Overview:** As an RN in Labor and Delivery, you will be at the forefront of bringing new life into the world! Your skills will be critical in providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct fetal monitoring and assessment - Respond quickly to emergencies - Provide comprehensive postpartum care - Demonstrate excellent time management skills **Required Certifications:** - ACLS or ALS-OB - NRP - EFM - BLS **Experience Requirements:** - Minimum of 3 years in a similar role **Additional Qualifications:** - Preferred skills: - Fetal Monitoring & Assessment - Emergency Response - Postpartum Care - Common Diagnoses/Treatments: - Normal Spontaneous Labor - PreTerm Labor - Gestational Hypertension - Preeclampsia - Placenta Previa - Placental Abruption - Fetal Distress - Umbilical Cord Prolapse - Postpartum Hemorrhage **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - Must possess adaptability - Team player with strong communication skills - Exceptional attention to detail - High stamina and empathy for patients **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Ceil Blue - **Unacceptable Attire:** - Non-compliant scrub colors - Scrubs with slogans, graphics, or offensive content - Inappropriate footwear **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
