OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Polysomnographer (Sleep Technologist) to support patients with sleep-related and cardiopulmonary conditions. This role involves conducting sleep studies, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring accurate data collection in accordance with clinical protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct and monitor sleep studies (polysomnography)
- Observe and record patient data during sleep assessments
- Apply and adjust monitoring equipment
- Recognize and respond to abnormalities during studies
- Collaborate with physicians and respiratory care teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Follow established clinical protocols and safety standards
Requirements- One of the following certifications required upon hire:
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
- Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT)
- Sleep Disorders Specialty (SDS)
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant sleep study or respiratory care experience
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications- Recent critical care experience (within the last 12 months)
- Experience in sleep study technology
- Ability to work independently in a clinical setting
