Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) position at an academic medical center, requiring BLS and PALS certifications with night or rotating shift availability.

Details

• PICU setting within an academic medical center
• Night or rotating shift schedule (3x12-hour shifts)
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Day shift hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3 weekends required per six-week schedule
• Every other holiday required
• May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
• EMR: Epic experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license; pending VA license will be accepted
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Pediatric ICU (PICU) nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
• Time off is not approved during the first 2 weeks of the contract
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per contract
