You can be based anywhere in the US, work blocked shifts in select emergency departments in Knoxville, Tennessee, and the surrounding area.
Curious about the role of a HIT team physician? A HIT physician is assigned to one emergency department (ED) at a time, providing quality care to patients. Our team physicians can count on continuous work due to planned assignments in the Knoxville area. You are right for this role if you are board-certified in emergency medicine (EM), family medicine (FM), or internal medicine (IM) (if FM or IM, must have ED experience).
