Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Travel

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy assistant services within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
- Implement treatment plans developed by supervising Physical Therapists for patients in an acute rehabilitation unit
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and functional goals
- Adhere to facility dress code and operational protocols, including wearing designated blue scrubs
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license valid in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, specifically within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) or LTACH setting
- Must hold licensure in state at time of submission — pending state licenses will not be considered
- Ability to work a day shift schedule in an onsite LTACH environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel therapy assignment experience
- Familiarity with LTACH patient populations and care protocols
- Experience working within a compact licensure eligible state
