Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Monday–Friday, 4x10-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide outpatient physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Treat orthopedic populations, including post-operative patients and young athletes
- Deliver targeted interventions for patients with debility, fall risk, and balance deficits
- Maintain a 1:1 patient-to-therapist ratio throughout treatment sessions
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license (license in hand required at time of submittal)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PTA
- Demonstrated competency working with orthopedic, post-operative, and balance/fall populations
- No on-call or weekend requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills- 2 or more years of PTA experience
- Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
- Prior experience working with young athletes in an outpatient setting
