Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and functional improvement
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards
- Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient status and plan of care updates
- Maintain a safe and professional environment for patients and staff at all times
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Maine or eligibility to obtain
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Valid state or federally issued photo identification required
- Ability to wear a visible photo badge at all times while on assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a similar clinical or facility-based setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
