Key Responsibilities- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions and exercises to support patient recovery and rehabilitation
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Maine or eligibility to obtain
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required for facility access
- Ability to wear a visible photo badge at all times while on site
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a contract or travel therapy setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
