Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 8 hours per day, 5 days per week | General start time between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM | Weekend rotation every 4 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services within a Medical Surgical Acute care setting
- Deliver patient care in alignment with facility protocols and treatment plans established by supervising Physical Therapists
- Document patient progress and treatment notes using Cerner EMR
- Potential to float to the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) as needed
- Adhere to facility dress code and operational standards throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license valid in the state of Rhode Island
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Acute care or hospital-based experience
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR or ability to quickly adapt to the platform
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Medical Surgical Acute hospital setting
- Prior experience floating to rehabilitation units within an acute care environment
- Travel healthcare assignment experience
