Physical Therapy Assistant

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5 x 8-hour shifts per week, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans within an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercises as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status, progress, and any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in compliance with facility standards
Required Qualifications- Active, permanent Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of South Carolina (compact licensure is not accepted — permanent SC license required)
- Prior experience in a physical therapy setting
- Ability to meet contract credentialing and quality assurance requirements
- Ability to work a consistent day shift schedule, 40 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous travel or contract assignment experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Familiarity with outpatient physical therapy documentation and workflows
