Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Monday through Friday | Full-Time (35 hours guaranteed per week)
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy treatment to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately
- Float between two local facilities as needed to meet patient care demands
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work Monday through Friday day shifts
- Willingness and ability to float between multiple facilities within the Tallahassee area
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a multi-site or float staffing capacity
- Experience working in a skilled nursing or outpatient rehabilitation setting
