Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional goals
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and responses to therapy accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status
- Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and safe functional activities
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Wyoming or ability to obtain prior to start
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work day shift in a rehabilitation and care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care rehabilitation environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
