Physical Therapy Assistant

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5 x 8-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and adjust techniques as appropriate based on patient progress
- Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout the course of treatment
Required Qualifications- Active, permanent South Carolina Physical Therapy Assistant license required — compact licensure alone is not accepted
- Prior experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a relevant clinical setting
- Ability to complete facility-specific credentialing and documentation requirements prior to assignment start
- Must meet all contract quality assurance credentialing requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to facility-specific documentation and workflow systems
