Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and adjust techniques as appropriate based on patient response
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and relevant clinical notes in accordance with facility standards
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status
- Float between assigned care locations as needed to meet patient care demands
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work a day shift schedule and float between multiple care locations
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Familiarity with documentation and electronic health record systems
