We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support therapy services for patients with injuries, illnesses, or mobility limitations. The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve function and independence.
Responsibilities- Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to the Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements- Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Required: Active PTA license in state of practice or ability to obtain
- Preferred: Previous PTA or healthcare experience
