Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized patient treatment plans in accordance with established goals
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe functional techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Nevada or eligibility to obtain one
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or similar post-acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in SNF environments
