Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Document all required clinical information in the electronic documentation system and accurately record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Participate in required meetings such as patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings, as well as required trainings and in-services.

• Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience required.
• Long Term Care (LTC) or rehabilitation setting experience required.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Missouri required.
• Adherence to APTA standards and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics.

• Experience working with Medicare A, Medicare B, and Managed Care patient populations.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems used in a clinical or long-term care environment.

• Work in a supportive environment that allows group therapy and provides dedicated documentation devices to streamline clinical workflows.
• Gain valuable experience in a structured long-term care setting with a consistent daily schedule.
