Key Responsibilities
Deliver physical therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising PT's plan of care
Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
Communicate patient status updates and clinical findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active state PTA license or demonstrated ability to obtain licensure
Ability to follow established treatment plans and work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting
Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing physical therapy services
