Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday with Saturday PRN | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy assistant services within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit setting
- Deliver patient care in accordance with treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Float to additional units as needed, including Medical/Surgical and ICU
- Document patient progress and treatment notes accurately within the facility's EMR system (Meditech)
- Adhere to facility dress code and departmental protocols throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Kansas or compact license eligibility
- Ability to work in an acute rehabilitation unit environment
- Willingness and ability to float to Medical/Surgical and ICU units as required
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR
- Compliance with facility dress code requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
- Previous travel therapy assignment experience is a plus
