Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans within an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercises as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress, updating records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Communicate patient status and any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in compliance with applicable standards
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Maryland
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Ability to meet contract credentialing and quality assurance requirements prior to start
- Ability to work a consistent day shift schedule of 40 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-volume outpatient therapy environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
