Key Responsibilities- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitative interventions to patients
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Massachusetts
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to fulfill a 15-week contract commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and care teams
