Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing individualized patient treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions to support patient recovery and functional improvement
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, home programs, and injury prevention techniques
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in accordance with facility policies
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of North Carolina
- Valid state or federally issued photo identification required for facility access
- Ability to wear a visible photo badge at all times while on site
- Minimum 35-hour weekly availability to meet guaranteed hours requirement
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a skilled nursing, outpatient, or rehabilitation setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working within a multidisciplinary care team
