Key Responsibilities- Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitative interventions to patients
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Michigan or eligibility to obtain
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work day shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a clinical or rehabilitative care setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary teams
