Key Responsibilities
Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist
Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and functional improvement
Monitor and document patient progress, reporting findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
