Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities- Implement selected components of patient/client interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Obtain data related to interventions provided and make modifications to progress the patient/client or ensure safety and comfort
- Provide patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings for individuals of all ages
- Assist in the treatment of individuals with medical problems or health-related conditions that limit movement and functional daily activities
- Report directly to the Rehabilitation Manager regarding patient care and progress
Required Qualifications- Inpatient experience is required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with applicable certificate
- Current credentialing through the Colorado State Physical Therapy Board (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations)
- Current BLS certification (verification card required)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, physicians, and the public
- Ability to operate relevant equipment, perform technical procedures, and exercise sound independent judgment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Minimum of two (2) years of experience, with primarily outpatient experience preferred
- Bilingual capabilities are helpful
