Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy treatments to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist in the assessment of patient functional abilities and contribute to goal-setting in collaboration with the supervising PT
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care team members to support optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Virginia or eligibility for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a long-term care or post-acute rehabilitation environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
