Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities to support rehabilitation goals
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Michigan
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar clinical setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with SNF documentation and Medicare compliance requirements
