Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Massachusetts
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a SNF or post-acute rehabilitation environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
