Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and goals
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Arizona or eligibility for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or similar clinical setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a SNF or long-term care environment
- Familiarity with Medicare documentation and compliance requirements
