Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising PT's plan of care
- Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
- Communicate patient status updates and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Ability to follow established treatment plans and work within a supervising PT structure
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with state and federal therapy regulations and documentation requirements
