Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 15-Week Assignment | 35 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
Key Responsibilities- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and functional improvement
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards
- Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient status and treatment outcomes
- Maintain a safe and professional environment for patients and staff at all times
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Maine or eligibility for licensure
- Current state or federal issued photo identification required for facility access
- Must wear a visible photo badge at all times while on site
- Ability to work any day of the week, including weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a contract or travel therapy setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
