Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Monday through Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and functional activities
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements including wearing a photo badge at all times
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Jersey
- Valid state or federally issued photo identification required
- Ability to meet a 35-hour weekly guarantee
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a facility-based or outpatient physical therapy setting
- Experience with clinical documentation and electronic health records
