Pride Health is hiring a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our client’s home health services in Easton, MD (21601). This is a 3+ month contract opportunity offering competitive pay and the chance to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.
Job Summary:
The Travel Physical Therapy Assistant will deliver high-quality, in-home patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, supporting rehabilitation plans and helping patients regain mobility and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services in patient home settings under PT supervision
- Assist in executing individualized treatment plans
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility programs
- Track patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and safety
- Travel daily to multiple patient homes within the assigned territory
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare and safety standards
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree required
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required
- Reliable transportation required
- Home health experience preferred
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based setting
Additional Information:
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (may vary)
- Location: Easton, MD 21601 (servicing patient homes; main office in Salisbury, MD)
- Duration: 3+ Month Contract
- Pay Rate:$39 – $41/hr (based on experience)
- Travel: Daily travel to multiple patient homes required
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs or navy polo with khakis
