Physical Therapy Assistant

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5 x 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy assistance services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and assist patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility requirements
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates
- Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment for patients throughout their rehabilitation
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license required
- Prior experience in a physical therapy outpatient or relevant clinical setting
- Ability to meet contract credentialing and quality assurance requirements prior to start
- Must obtain a permanent state license; compact licensure may be accepted initially but permanent licensure is required promptly upon assignment start
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience working in a high-volume or multi-site physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation documentation and electronic medical records
