Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established patient care plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Maryland
- Prior experience in a physical therapy setting
- Ability to meet contract credentialing and quality assurance requirements prior to assignment start
- Ability to work a consistent daytime schedule of 5x8-hour shifts per week
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation processes
