Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy treatments including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in the patient's individualized care plan
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout the course of treatment
- Report treatment results and patient updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Deliver care within a long-term care setting, supporting patients through rehabilitation and recovery
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience (required)
- Active Texas PTA license or valid compact state license (required)
- Ability to work day shift in an onsite long-term care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills when reporting to supervising therapists
