Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Home Health

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy assistant services to patients in a home health setting within an assigned territory
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapistassist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and rehabilitative procedures in the home environment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
- Meet daily productivity expectations of 6 points per day
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and care team regarding patient status and progress
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
- Prior home health experience required
- Ability to manage an independent caseload within a defined geographic territory
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) software
- Familiarity with home health productivity standards and point-based systems
