Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week | 26-week commitment
Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and monitor patient progress throughout the course of care
- Accurately complete required clinical documentation in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients during all treatment sessions
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Washington — permanent state license required
- Prior clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
- Ability to fulfill a 26-week contract commitment
- Compliance with credentialing and quality assurance requirements prior to assignment start
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
