Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Monday – Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions as directed by the plan of care
- Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Ensure a safe treatment environment for patients and staff at all times
Required Qualifications- Active New Mexico Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required on-site at all times
- Must meet all registry and credentialing requirements prior to assignment start
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience in a similar clinical or facility-based setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
